The cool part is that I don’t have to understand why On most social issues, this is exactly what should be going on in everyone’s head. So many people are about punishing what they don’t understand, but it almost always backfires. If we wanted to address communitarianism and extremism in secular society we would do better than criminalizing people’s harmless religious expression.
