Hawks and Doves… I get a view on the most unexpected things very often. The latest (actually happened last week) … deals with a young hawk, birds and my buddies the doves. Now I know the sound of red tail hawks pretty well, they hang around sometimes where I am at. And I noticed a screech a few weeks ago that sounded familiar. I thought it sounds like a baby hawk. It screeched a lot for weeks. I assumed it flew the nest and is trying to figure out its world. I started looking for it, but couldn’t for a while until … I saw it chillin and screeching on a telephone pole. The Jays attacking it as they usually do, but it just kept screeching. Then one day I look out… and I see it sitting on the pole and literally not fair away 6 doves ? And other birds. And no more Jays attacking it. I thought to myself …’now I’ve never seen this before. And if they can do it … WE can’ 🕊️
