One hard thing as a body mod artist is giving people an idea of what a mod might be like, while also not making promises for what their body will do when there's so much variation in healing... Like some people's glow scars become totally unnoticeable (when not glowing) after months, for others (like me), they might remain a visible scar forever. Or how long it takes for things to heal. Some people's magnets are totally unproblematic after 2 weeks, for others it can take a whole month. Mine has been on the longer side of things. At least, the more I do this stuff, the more samples I get. But every now and again there'll be someone whose body does something really unexpected, that's also always a possibility...
