I just heard Cory Doctorow mention that he has cancer (apparently it "seems treatable" so I'm not too worried for him) on the Dreaming against the machine podcast and think I experienced Time in a way I haven't since I was in my dad's workshop in my early 20s and realised one day he'll be dead and I won't know how to use the majority of the tools and machines in there.
