I keep freaking out recently about the fact that I turn 60 next year. SIXTY. I was fine when others my age were freaking out about turning 25, 30, 40-even fifty, I was practicing saying I was going on fifty for years before. No problem! No psych issues with it. But now it's caught up to me, and I'm mentally grappling w/ being old. I remember hearing an interview with MJagger when he turned 70? Saying the 17 year old was still there, and he hadn't understood that's what growing old meant.
