Pool plumbing is going to be the fucking death of me. I hate .. HATE HATE FUCKING HATE dealing with this shit. I cannot get these fucking connection to work reliably without dripping. And these goddamn connectors, in particular, are the bane of my existence. Tomorrow I'm going to experiment by chopping off the smaller diameter piece and see if that helps. My theory here is that because of that smaller section, the water the missed going in the hole rushes up to the larger piece where it exerts pressure against the clamped hose. That pressure, due to how the water is flowing, is directed outwards, stretching the hose and finding any goddamn pinhole available to leak out of. If I cut off that smaller piece, I'm betting that pressure is cut significantly and it no longer leaks. Either that or I'm finding someone else I can throw gold bricks at who can set this shit up in a more permanent state so that this never happens again. Or worse, worse case, I'm napalming the whole fucking thing and just fixing the hole left in the deck. #FuckPoolPlumbing
