  @dickenhobelix@chaos.social Habe mich gerade mal durch den „GSM-R Procurement and Implementation Guide“ [https://uic.org/IMG/pdf/2009gsm-r_guide.pdf] der UIC geklickt. Ausgewählte Zitate: „10.5.1 The GSM-R system architecture needs to be designed to minimise loss of service due to failures in one or more elements. This is achieved through a combination of equipment redundancy and network resilience to remove single points of failure resulting in a high availability of service.“ „10.5.7 The loss of the active NSS site must not impact on the information stored in: – HLR […]“ Die HLR-Daten sind nicht verloren gegangen – sonst müssten ja z. B. alle GSM-R SIM-Karten neu vergeben werden, sofern ich das richtig gelesen habe. HLR und HLRf sind dasselbe, bzw. müssen dieselbe Datenbank sein, wenn ich die GSM-Spezifikationen richtig verstehe (dann ist letzteres nur ein HLR mit Erweiterungen). Mindestens die Funktion der funktionalen Rufnummern scheint aber nicht verfügbar gewesen zu sein. Letztendlich war die Datenbank aber noch auf einem Stand, dass das Backup in Betrieb gehen konnte.
