I am envious of the 18TBs. i have 6x 8TB ironwolfs in striped mirrors with around 40k hours and 2 older Samsung 893 enterprise SSDs in a mirror. the one thing I did manage to get lucky on was a Dell 7920 rack with dual Xeons and 764GB of ECC DDR4 for the equivalent of around 1500EUR back in November 2025. Makes quite a beast of a promox server 512GB of it is just ARC cache for the ZFS pools (because I don’t have a better use for it)
