@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org @jes@outerheaven.club in the first few years of this century I bought a new Wacom for my artwork, a GD-0608-U which I happen to have beside me here, although it has spent the past few decades up in the attic because it is no longer supported on the Mac. However I tried it on a Linux setup a few months ago and found it’s actually not just working but working very well, with the features etc. It was my first USB Wacom, all the previous ones were ADB, and even going back as far as one which had a separate metal box with an RS-232 port and some other adaptor on it which connected to my Mac IIsi serial port back then, before ADB was a thing for tablets.

@u0421793@toot.pikopublish.ing @jes@outerheaven.club Nice one! I had a look at the photo, it's a old model I never tried (probably around 2000?) . My first one was a Graphire in 2002! I have an article for that with photos: https://www.davidrevoy.com/article332/my-tablet-history-log-a-listing-of-all-the-tablet-i-tested-since-2002-update-2026
