@Sharksonaplane@mastodon.sandwich.net I have read texts by Fanon, a bit about Sankara ("A certain kind of madness"). Nothing much. But! It's wa Thiong'o's thoughts on language, on translation that pulled me to him, he's electric in interviews. "I write the work in Gikuyu, these words are a translation" has a ring to it. And I'm curious about him as a writer of fiction, too.
