And finally, approximately half of the people murdered in the Holocaust were murdered simply for being Jewish. The Nazis were racist towards Jewish people.
And yes, it was racism, and not religious prejudice.
Jews were the primary targets of Hitler's campaign of extermination. And anti Jewish prejudice should still be opposed ferociously because of this.

@burnoutqueen@todon.nl i mean, as a jewish person myself, jewish people weren't the first targets of the holocaust. the first targets were queer and disabled people. really makes you think about the current political climate.
