In general the reason I'd wager is most Americans are Anglos, IE Nordics, so that plays a part, Rodnovers are OFC mainly Slavs, Celtic Pagans are mostly Celts ETC ETC, I've talked to a few American Hellenists as well though.

I believe it's a tool to keep people in check and prevent free will or think for ones self
