@griff@vmst.io I've been on a couple of group hikes. While you may share ingredients for meals, everyone usually brings all of their own gear. There was no sharing of stoves, water treatment, shelter (i.e. dining tarp), etc. Looking back it would have been more efficient to distribute these items. Probably a good idea to have some duplication in case of equipment failure.
