@dr_jo_mue@troet.cafe @xyla@shitpost.trade Maybe what they mean is that as opposed to France with their centralized LGVs running through from the periphery to Paris, we have a bit of a patchwork of very high speed lines and slower lines shared by other services and cargo, requiring more slowing down and waiting on any given trip, but still, I think it'd be pretty decent network with better coverage if they maintained everything properly
