@reallylazybear@mastodon.social As you can see, this disproportionately affects people by privilege levels, yes. Those born into riches — which ultimately are the main ones responsible for all this in the first place — are also the ones who can just move to cooler areas, run giant air conditioners, etc etc, while the poorer people are stuck. And yes, government resources could be allocated at least to cooling if not fixing this mess, but they won't even do that. Community centers are totally doable.
