@reallylazybear@mastodon.social ngl, I'm no expert. But a lot of that advice refers to generally trying to avoid heat exhaustion and such. In such a critical emergency situation those things may still be better than nothing. At a certain point, when it exceeds what the body can handle itself, external factors are required. AC really is the best thing in such situations, which is a big problem obviously since not everyone can do that. Community locations with cooling may be ultimately the biggest hope.

You know those trillion dollars could've been spent on actually cooling us, not make the world hotter by running those datacenters consuming gigawatts of power, but idk I'm getting off topic, but still I hate datacenters. It's datacenters and big companies putting blame on us to think about our lifestyles cos of global warming and climate change..
