The fans don't actually add heat themselves, but the air *itself* would be too hot for the "air conditioning effect" to work and, in fact, would be forcing your body to absorb more heat. (At that point you want a buffer instead.)

@nazokiyoubinbou@mastodon.social Also yeah I sometimes pat my arm and it feels a little hotter than my hand. That's probably my body absoring hot air but I don't "sense" this hot air on my body for some reason. My "temperature sensor" must've gone bad, lol. My mum joked about it before
