My li-ion battery powered fan is helping me cool though. I just have to replace batteries and charge the used up ones. It's good for about 12 - 15 hours on 2x4000 mAh 18650 batteries that I use whenever I'm going to sleep.

@reallylazybear@mastodon.social @fribbledom@mastodon.social How is that going to help when places start reaching a wet bulb temperature of 35+C in the future? At that point fans would literally actually make it worse. Really, once it gets hot enough, even at less than a wet bulb of 35, if your body can't dissipate enough at nights (fans or no) you start to build up a sort of overall heat exhaustion. No, "I'll just get more fans" isn't going to solve this.
