@jmaris@eupolicy.social look, this is written not by an arbitrary academic. Christian Enemark has for years studied and teached ethics of international relations and drone warfare at University of Southampton. This is his field. He simply could not ignore the drone footage from this war and thus must know the exact way in which russian army wages war against civilians along all front line and behind it. Considering that, the easyness with which he established a moral equivalence between sides is of course terrifying, but it's also the intellectual failure. He should understand how drone raids on oil refineries are conducted (the videos are abundant), that GPS is jammed, russian authorities fail to effectively notify the population and so on, all information is already here. Interesting, is this lack of understanding is persistent? I'll try to read his works after 2022
