@lumiukko@metalhead.club @stekopf@mstdn.social @royaards@newsie.social before any “grand plan” we need one really simple rule: prohibit all extraction and cross-border trade of fossil fuels (crude and refined), and subsidize the refitting or replacing of personal fossil-dependent machines to be fossil-free. The basic problem is the increase of carbon in the carbon cycle, so the critical first step is to stop that, and since people are dependent on it we need to enable them to move away from it

@ShadSterling@mastodon.social @stekopf@mstdn.social @royaards@newsie.social while the rule is simple, it's implementation is not. But I do agree, this must be part of any serious effort we take into the direction of keeping this planet a place we can live on.
