I wrote to our EU representatives outlining why I am angry that chat control is getting yet another attempt to make it into legislation when it has already been rejected several times. Age verification is on the menu too 🤮
If you live in the EU, write to your MEP before 29 June and tell them why Chat Control (mass scanning of personal messages) is unsuited to protect anyone online, let alone minors:

Chat Control is getting its fourth or fifth serious push now despite failing every time, which tells you this isn't about protecting children, it's about finding the right political moment to ram it through. The fightchatcontrol.eu deadline matters. 29 June is real and MEP offices do count constituent mail.
