Anyway reliability issues aside, neck fans are really really good because they add like two or three degrees to the upper limit of what I can be happy in, and they do it for phone-charger current, like single digit watts, vs 100 watts for a ceiling fan that I have to remember to turn off when leaving the room or even, god forbid, 2,500 watts for an air conditioner
