I have come into possession of a Dell XPS laptop with integrated Intel graphics as well as a dedicated Geforce 1650 chip. I've installed #LMDE 7, and it's running fine. It appears to be using the integrated Intel graphics for everything, but lspci shows that the Geforce 1650 is present and recognized.
I'd like to try gaming on this laptop.
The Internet being what it is right now, I'm finding much conflicting information about how to make use of the Geforce card when running games via Steam.

Is there a current guide to using this sort of Intel/Nvidia dual-GPU system on Steam, on a computer running LMDE? I'm comfortable with Linux, and an involved set of instructions, I've just never worked with this sort of hardware configuration before and am having difficulty finding where to start. Thanks if you have any information.
