@lalonsander@chaos.social Nice to see an article that shows this from the dark side, too: "China was responsible for 95 per cent of the world's new coal power construction activity last year." China is installing renewables faster than anyone else, but has also steadily increased per-capita emissions. It’s the main reason why global CO₂-Emissions are still rising, even though EU und USA have reduced their emissions by 30% in the past 20 years. And I hope that China really reached peak emissions now.
