I can't stand Alberta, its government or its policies. It's a shithole that's shifting to a model of extracting maximum profit for the UCP's corporate buddies at the expense of everyone else. At the same time, Canada is sprinting as fast as it can to ram Bill C-22 through which will effectively turn us into a surveillance state. Hiding behind the classic "think of the children" line has always been short for "we're doing sketchy shit and we don't want to be questioned on it." Plus there's no such thing as a secure back door for encryption, it's just a ticking time bomb for data breaches. How did I end up losing no matter which way the separatism bullshit goes?
