ivy adventures...i repotted this Hedera helix into a slightly larger, higher quality pot recently, and also cut it back fairly hard. vine species are possible to #bonsai but it is a challenge to get them to ramify (create branching), as the vine often just wants to continue as a single leader from any cut point. i'm pleased to see new growth on this ivy, indicating that it coped with the operation well. i intend to grow the ivy a little larger in the future, with hopefully a fuller canopy. frequent prunings will be necessary to keep the internodes short and the leaves small. #plants #houseplants
