I made my first proper stitches on a sewing machine today at the maker space with the help of a friend. The heatwave collided with a tight schedule, so getting *anything* done was an achievement. 🙌🏻 I also learned that my neighbor is very happy to let me borrow her machine in the hopes that I will enjoy it and do some future work for her (because she doesn’t like it)* 😂 *(She would have let me borrow it anyway.)
