I mean, it’s not a bad play to stop Israel’s genociding. To be clear, Iran’s regime is evil, they treat their people, especially women, terribly. Meanwhile, Israel has gone off the rails and there doesn’t seem to be a single western power willing to sit them down and have an intervention to get them off this bender of blood and ruin. So, Iran, of all people, is going to force the point by closing the straight until they do.

President Donald Trump warned Saturday that the United States could impose tolls on the vital Strait of Hormuz waterway if negotiators are unable to complete a deal to end the war in Iran. Lol wut. So ships are going to get double tolled? Don’t threaten me with a good time, Mr. President. You might be doing more good to progress the world away from oil than any President since we learned about the climate catastrophe, ironically
