#WhidbeyIsland #News: Two houses were destroyed by fire, one blown up due to a 700lbs cache of fireworks stored inside. On the KIRO news segment, a neighbor reported the resident of the home allegedly said they “got a good deal” on the pallet of celebratory explosives prior to the explosions and fire that consumed their home. Firefighters and residents were injured. One firefighter required surgery.
