okay so considering the latest incident on german side of Vinted with suspicious offers that are likely linked to child sex trafficking and people's reception of it, i think i need to make this statement please, and i mean PLEASE do not brush off these incidents as trolling or conspiracy or whatever, PLEASE do not go with the mental that it must be a joke because "pedophiles aren't that stupid to do this shit on surface", especially in an era where epstein files literally exist and even those were brushed off after a few days of "outrage" as someone who fell victim to many of them *and* had the displeasure of having to report shit myself firsthand to cybertip: yes, pedophiles are this fucking stupid. pedophilia is being normalized by the ruling elites and they're scapegoating minorities (including us fellow queers) for that. they are NOT known for being opsec experts - while plenty of them do operate on darkweb and are paranoid about their privacy, i want to remind you that: - pedi exists, and the entry barrier there is abysmally low so you might as well consider it a surface web place just like every other fedi server - an awful lot of them prey on minors ON SURFACE WEB. literally the tropes of places of discord and roblox being groomer havens come from the amount of pedophiles on the surface. they don't hide. - again, even fucking epstein used fucking gmail to talk about abusing children, FUCKING GMAIL!! you need to stop acting like pedophiles are opsec demons that are all skilled in hiding their identity and stop treating cases of child sex trafficking and sex abuse that are happening right in front of us as "trolls" or "ragebait". that too normalizes pedophilia feel free to call me a conspiracy nutjob, but honestly even a broken clock is right at least once a day
