Ok no, it's because of the TV filter. And... surprisingly enough, the slowest part here is not the lowpass filters. It's... the AANN filter pass at the end to smooth out the lines. So, I removed it for now, now it (Mupen with ParaLLEl-RDP as the gfx plugin) (mostly) consistently runs at full speed on my laptop. Now, TV (CRT) otoh doesn't run at full speed, but it's to be expected that CRT is the slowest filter.
