like for keyboard i could plausibly use a similar layout to the preview, gamepad is worse though

At this point it also doesn't make a lot of sense to have virtual controllers without their shapes, and... I don't have shapes for physical gamepads either - so I started adding them (just traced from gamepad photos/renders + aligning controls as quite a lot of them were misplaced). Done 9 out of 16 so far. I quite like how these turned out, though the shoulder buttons are not ideal.
