To elaborate on "good job": These posters are eye-catching, with colour and contrast and even evoked texture. The message is succinct and politically astute: this is the budget binary. Do you want to spend ever-increasing amounts on militaristic control, or on mental health and gardens and libraries and transit etc. The fact that there are six versions of the poster is also fun. Interactive. Spot them all. It also highlights just how much is being given up for cops. Another poster referred, for example, to funding for ANCHOR (https://www.centretownchc.org/anchor). Contextually, the timing is right on. The city of Ottawa is voting on its budget next week. Here is the approved channel for submitting your opinion: https://engage.ottawa.ca/budget2026 But these posters could be in kindergarten classrooms. Where we're supposed to learn to be kind to each other. Anyway, good job, whoever did this. (Anyone know who did this?)
