It's not human nature to abandon people with injuries or disabilities, and anyone trying to convince you otherwise is lying to you. There's archeological records of early humans caring for their injured and disabled comrades, which wouldn't exist if humans abandoned their injured or disabled comrades. Mutual aid is just a modern extension of that ancient impulse to help our fellow travelers survive hardships while living aboard this spaceship we call Earth.
