I think this is one of the benefits of the information age: people can see that capitalism rewards the laziest, most inept, most worthless, most narcissistic, most vile, and pettiest little freaks produced by a society. It's really hard to maintain the propaganda about capitalist meritocracy when everyone can see the capitalists.
