Piracy still gives them a platform to justify their surveillance. It’s a bullshit justification and they would be surveilling anyway. The only correct take is a full boycott False. There is no such thing as a “correct take” much less a single correct viewpoint. There are many valid means to resist capitalism. Piracy is generally better than boycotting because it’s easier and requires no sacrifice. Thus it is far more likely to be widely adopted, as we’ve already seen. Many many people are already pirating compared to some imaginary boycott.
