Saw this and immediately thought of @rubenwardy@hachyderm.io. Turns out the good thing about releasing an overpriced pc gaming machine with outdated specs that are thermally constrained is that competition arrives and it gives the market a chance to truly innovate. The steam deck was a hard product to compete against due to the unique form factor of a hybrid handheld/gaming console with power consumption as a high criteria. The steam machine has virtually none of those constraints and is easier to compete
