Today, I decided to play with n = 3i + 3. It makes the flower a bit more crowded, but still nice.
Also, I finished this piece on watercolor paper. I tested three different inks for writing the simple equation and values around the edge of the flower. I hope somebody likes these, because I'm having fun with them. I also drafted an n = 3i + 2 version.

In today's #inkyDays drawing, I'm playing with n=3i+2 for the growth pattern in the rings of petals. It makes a pleasing alternating even-odd number of petals in the rings. Here's an in-progress shot. The finished drawing is now on my patreon and ko-fi: https://www.patreon.com/posts/157125081 https://ko-fi.com/Post/InkyDays-May-2026-O4O21YSSKM #ink #drawing #art #SciArt #MathArt #wip #flowers #GenerativeArt #ProceduralArt
