They need to bring back home ec (economics).
Basic cooking, nutrition and finance. How taxes work, voting, credit, bills and even dealing with cops (be respectful, no sudden movements, know your rights, shut the fuck up).
How to adult for kids who don’t get taught at home.

Agreed. School focuses too much on stem. It should be there to prepare you for life. Go to Uni if you want to advance in stem. School should also teach other basics like taxes, finance and budgeting.
