@lupinia@infosec.exchange @nyanbinary@infosec.exchange I deffinately like that thought process, but I've gotten to the point where I'm asking "Actually, is Online for Everyone the right answer?" okay just saw how that looks so let me clarify: If the internet were a physical place on the street of my country - let's say a cafe - I would want everyone to be able to walk in whenever they wanted, but I wouldn't nessasarily expect everyone to do so Some will prefer other places to hang out, and honestly... that would be healthier. Social websites are one of MANY different places to socialize, goof off, learn things, and share things. And while everyone should be welcome on the web, they should also the internet isn't a replacement for parks, coffee shops, libraries and bookstores. Maybe it's okay if people leave the digital realm, or at the very least spend a lot less time here. ... That my grandma is addicted to TEMU and can't figure out that she shouldn't delete her texts may not be a neutral detail in my analysis...
