I started from scratch, but I was inspired by Traveller5 and by the TravellerMap, which uses Traveller5. I originally wanted to make a Star Frontiers inspired setting using the Star Without Numbers rules. I did that. Then I got my copy of Singularity, a campaign for Traveller Mongoose 2nd Edition. I decided to add a TravellerMap import to my app. It meant having two versions of the Tech Levels (SWN uses a 0-6-range, while Traveller uses a 0-22 range). (1/2)
