I understand that I'm an outlier when it comes to password hygiene (I'm *meticulous* with 1Password), but it's for that reason that I get irrationally-upset any time a service switches to "magic links" instead of logging in with a password. This goes double for "gee whiz, it looks like you haven't updated your password in the last year"—no shit, my password's like 32 characters and has never been used anywhere else by me! 🙄
