@JamesBont@mastodon.social Very risky using OpenOffice – it has "red" risk status from Apache due to unfixed security problems, and is not recommended for production use: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_OpenOffice#Security (And on top of that, it's had no major update since 2014, but still calls itself the "leading open source office suite"...)

@libreoffice@fosstodon.org Thanks, that had completely slipped my mind. I actually use LibreOffice myself. My primary goal was to support software developed in Germany. However, OnlyOffice is out of the question - if only because of the EU sanctions. So that leaves only the software - the name of which had slipped my mind - but which I used very frequently, even back in the Windows days. 🤦♂️ 🥰 https://www.softmaker.de/produkte/softmaker-office
