@MatWright@mastodon.social That French reactor and a Swiss one today that shut down draw their cooling water from rivers where the temperature needs to be below 25°C. The reactors in Ontario get their cooling water from the Great Lakes, which to date remain cool enough. If the day comes when water from Lake Ontario and Lake Huron are too warm to keep nuclear reactors cool then we’re all cooked.
