I'm from Sevilla, South of Spain.
In the nineties, there were a couple of days per year when we reached 42º in July and people were talking about conspiracies of manipulated street thermometers to make us panic because we went beyond 40º.
Now, a day with 42º on June is a warm day. We go above 50º regularly on July and August.
This change happened in less than 30 years time.
And there are schools that still don't have air conditioner.
