The camera app is a fork of the open source app OpenCamera.
As far as I can see, it just opens your default galley app.

@seindal@mastodon.uno That looks about right. But I'm unsure how to configure the default gallery app. I tried using an alternative camera app and that just said "no access to gallery", so I think this is the crux
