Just tried to explain the golden goose meme to my husband. But growing up in Thailand he hadn't yet been exposed to the story of the goose that laid golden eggs. So I went on a tangent to tell him the jack and the beanstalk fable, thinking that was the one referenced. Then I duckduckgo'd the story to find that it's a different fable, which I then told to my Thai husband to set up the softbank slide story that ends with a Japanese ceo comparing himself to Jesus. Uuuuhhhgg, is this peak 2026? Are we all hallucinating? What is the price of eggs x goose value? Am I a goose? What is the value of cow per bean?
