@the5thColumnist@ottawa.place nuclear is in a completely different ballpark than oil and coal. the carbon footprint of nuclear power is significantly lower than even solar energy. it’s interesting that the costs are higher, but not by a lot, and it’s also much more reliable since works 24/7.
