  The joke is that you’re shooting the first person It’s difficult for me to believe that you actually thought I didn’t get their joke. But since you obviously didn’t understand my comment, I’ll turn it around and dumbsplain it for you. You see, a First Person Shooter is called that because the player is in first person mode. “First Person” is describing how the player sees things from their character’s perspective. So, if your perspective is actually that of the “first person”, then you’d be seeing things from Adam’s perspective, not from the perspective of seeing Adam. There are other types of games that use the term “shooter” to describe things like the control scheme (twin stick shooter, for example), but “first person” is specifically about the player’s perspective.
