@phil@fed.bajsicki.com There was recent kerfuffle¹ about LLM-washing of licensed code, training an LLM on it, and then getting "public domain" versions of it on the other end.
As @cwebber@social.coop noted a while back², that would either mean you can license-wash proprietary software (train it on the source to Photoshop or Windows and get a public-domain version out), or the underlying code licensing still holds…both are interesting outcomes.
